AmberGoo BOMB is made by triple-infusing Canadian Spruce Pitch in Grass-fed Yak Tallow, then adding local beeswax.

Spruce pitch salve was traditionally used to bring healing and relief to wounds, chronic ulcers (see this Finnish study), sore muscles, arthritis, and relieving chest congestion.

According the above Finnish study, Spruce Pitch demonstrated anti-fungal, antimicrobial and disinfectant properties, and was used to help fight infection, promote healing, protection and increase circulation.

Spruce pitch has long been valued in traditional outdoor use, and recent research suggests that naturally occurring compounds found in spruce has significant tick-repellent properties.

We use AmberGoo Bomb on scratches, wounds, sore muscles, sprained ankles, irritated or flaky skin, and as a deodorant. It doubles as a moustache wax, and beard balm, too!

What to Expect

Salve is sticky due to being triple infused with Spruce Pitch.

The bit of stickiness /resistance works well for a rub when digging deep into those muscles.

If applied to open wounds, may sting a bit.
